Monoethylamine is a versatile intermediate with a variety of applications. The biggest outlet for Monoethylamine is for the production of herbicides in agricultural industry (e.g. atrazine, simazine and cyanazine). Monoethylamine is also used to produce mining chemicals, flotation agents (e.g. isopropylethyl thiocarbamates) and in the production of polyurethane as a chain stopper to control the degree of polymerization.
Closed steel drum, net wt 150Kg.
Great care should be taken while opening drums and sample vials, because of its vapour pressure. Avoid contact with copper and its alloys.
MEA drums should be stored in a cool and well ventillated area; away from sources of ignition.
